I'm a senior lecturer in the School of Computing Science at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne where I give (deliver, teach, expound?) a whole bunch of courses. My main research interests are mobile computing, pedagogy (particularly learning support systems), web stuff and anything else that takes my fancy really.

The machine this is being sent to you from is catless.ncl.ac.uk. Follow the link if you want to know what catless means.

On the web, as well as my weblog, I run the Virtual Memorial Garden, the html version of the Risks Digest and the PPIG website. You can also find here my colour selector page and some of my programs.
