Did you know that some senator or congressman has proposed that people with "political delusions" be included in a mental health bill that would let them claim back medication costs. These delusions include things like suspicion that voting machiens were tampered with, that the media is biased etc. etc.
Yes....you talking about me?

<a href="http://swiftreport.blogs.com/news/2005/01/conservatives_p.html<br /> <br /> This">http://swiftreport.blogs.com/news/2005/01/conservatives_p.html<br /> <br /> This</a> appears to be the source of the story, however after going to about 40 different sites, I can’t find a link to something Senator Bill Frist said or wrote. Nor, is there any mention of any “mental health” related bill on the Senator’s website.<br /> <br /> Don’t get me wrong, I believe the Republicans would whore out their mothers and eat their children to make a dollar, but common sense (if such a thing exists in Un-united Corporate States of Amerika) states ‘they’ don’t have to introduce new legislation; the Patriot Act already covers it. Just call it terrorism.

This story has all the hallmarks of an urban legend.

Thanks Bob…it did not occur to me that the source was satire. Sad that so many sites picked it up as a real thing…

Bad link, Lynn (as at 23:15 GMT 7th Feb). Do you have another reference such as a bill name and number (S-something or H.R.-something)?
Rob
Yes, I would like to see the link too. <br /> <br /> I searched on ‘Freedom Commission’ and got one hit, <br /> H. R. 181<br /> Parental Consent Act of 2005<br /> <br /> Introduced in the House and not be Frist…
