That sounds good. BTW, how do you know if the reply is to a particular person when your comments section isn't threaded? Or is that in the pipeline? ;-)<br /> <br /> Personally, I think a page that list all comments in date order, with a link to the log entry that they're attached to would be interesting.

Sometimes I get 147 emails notifying me that 147 people have added to a particular comment at jwalk. On the other hand, at the straight dope message boards one suffices untill I actually visit, somehow resetting it.<br /> Now, I don't see it as a problem here as the comment section stays pretty manageable, but I reckon that in the future it could get quite popular. <br /> Comments at a site like yours are one of the best ways to join into a lively debate with a group that we never realized we were already a part of.<br /> Also, I would like to see comments for your reading list. It's a pretty interesting list and maybe your comments were just the tip of the iceberg . I for one would love to join a "book discussion group" so to speak, that wanted to talk about a John McPhee or Henry Petroski book. I think the group is tailor made already all we need is a forum.<br /> <br /> Possible?
