No, not panorami! Panorama comes from the Greek, cactus and octopus are<br /> second declension Latin nouns so form their plural with an i - Greek<br /> works quite differently.

Doesn't octopus also come from the greek? There is certainly no such word as octopi. The correct plural is octopusses or octopodes.
