Just got back from the Sage, Gateshead from a concert by Darrol Anger and Rushad Eggleston. One of the best concerts I have ever seen in my whole life. Eggleston is simply the most astonishing cello player I have ever seen. If you get the chance to see him, grab it. (Which is not to denigrate Darrol Anger who was amazing as well). I'm still totally stoked by it.
I know that was good! I have been going to <A href="http://magfest.com/">these fests</A> for the last couple years and this spring I stood right next to Darol while he jammed with the fiddle player from <A href="http://www.duhks.com/index.php">The Duhks</A> and <A href="http://www.joshpinkham.com/">Josh Pinkham</A>. There were only about a dozen people who got to hear it. <A href="<a href="http://www.mandolinmagazine.com/articles/marshall.html">Mike">http://www.mandolinmagazine.com/articles/marshall.html">Mike</a> Marshall</A> was standing right across from me!
