It wasn't great but I don't know if I did it right. Note that the instructions require a pestel and mortar and it is never mentioned again! Perhaps the ginger needs to be crushed or something - I chopped it up. I also don't have a cocktail shaker and I was using lemon Strega rather than limoncello (I do have some home made limoncello which a student gave me a long time ago - made from sicilian lemons, sugar and a litre of pure ethanol....). Anyhow it smelled intersting but just tasted of spirits : no trace of the ginger or raspberries (they were organic rapsberries BTW). The vodka was triple distilled premium Russian. It also looked rather murky. I might try it again sometime.
