The little trackback thing is just supposed to be the source of the URL to which you should trackback - if you click it, you get an error because what is sent is not a trackback. I'll make it do something different.
Well, I feel foolish, now, but you implemented it in a way that I'd not encountered before.. I'm not *complaining*.. often there's a way of bringing up a permalink for a post on weblogs, and there's the message at the bottom 'trackback for this post is: blah blah' making it possible for you to cut & paste it into the trackback slot of whatever form you're using. The way you've got it, you have to read the trackback off the status bar or right click/save link as. If you don't have the status bar in view, then it's not intuitive. Or maybe it is, and I've simply never seen it implemented like that before. I'm *not* complaining, and appreciate the efforts you go to. :)
