I am entirely puzzled as to why I can't get the iPod to charge over USB. Just won't do it. Grrrr
That's really weird, I'm currently staring at a Nano I've bought for my wife for Christmas. It's not charging!

Yes, USB 2.0, 3rd generation iPod in a dock, plugged into a powered USB 2.0 hub Not the remotest sign of charging.

Have you tryied looking in the maintenance menu to see what its doing?
