I got a new electric mandolin from Wesley Guitars - I haven't played it yet (it's probably going to be a birthday or xmas present) but I had a look and it looks fine. The point is that it cost 59 quid. I don't see how you can make an instrument like it for that money : pickups, pots, a lead for goodness sake. OK, a Lloyd Loar it ain't, but even so.
