Hah

Personally I dislike these kind of articles.

Some of the problems the author encountered were down to the machine being connected to an Active Directory domain that wasn't configured very well.... it didn't have a correctly configured DHCP server (as he said), and looks like it had a Group Policy applied to the workstations that was changing the desktop appearance, etc. But he made a big deal about chasing dead ends for 2 hours trying to get the machine on the domain. Any Windows Sysadmin worth his salt would have resolved that problem in 25 seconds. In fact (and I'm not joking either) I saw the very same problem with a client's SBS server this morning. If he had bothered to check Google groups and put in some vaguely intelligent search terms, he would have come up with something in a little less than 2 hours.

:)

/rant
