I don't watch Lost, so have no idea what it is about except that nobody know what it is about, but this is an interesting suggestion.

I watch it (I download episodes off the web) but I'm becoming more and more frustrated with the show's writers' technique of stringing out any actual linear plot revelations by spending A LOT of time on flashbacks and stuff that is in the background of the characters, in order not to have to do the hard work of actually progressing the story at all in the 'now'. This is because the show's producer(s) have already mapped out the plot progression in the seasons, and variation only occurs in the plan if, for instance, it looks like they might get cancelled, or they need to beef up audience figures (thus the killing of a cast member, recently). So there'll be no major revelations for the next few episodes in regards to the Lost Islanders' fate, and things will only get so weird before the show ends with no major explanations....

I get the feeling you don't watch it very much. ; p

I've watched it a couple of times. It's an evening soap, like Dallas and Knots Landing, but, like, 21st-century and stuff... <DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>And that link, it is dead. The number has something to do with the show, right?</DIV>

Digg effect on the link. It will probably come back at some point. It may also be being /.ed as well......

Hmmm. Refreshing this page in Safari results in a double posting of my comment. Gotta be damned careful 'round here!
