Tracking mysterious teaspoons is serious research stuff indeed. They should offer a Nobel prize for it. Now why, at home (a 'closed' system) are 5 of our 6 original teaspoons missing?

Perhaps someone should commission a similar study on socks and why so many seem to vanish on their journey from the washing basket to the washing machine and then back to the cupboard. Maybe this is also related to their relative value?
