As you can see the trackbacks have gone. What do people feel about JW's idea of things to click to add links to del.icio.us etc.? (Blinklist is my preferred system)

Maybe you could write some code to track the tags that WE give them and then automatically assign these tags to the posts.<br>Kinda cool

Yes, but how soon would it be before the tags were all spam?

Lindsay

dunno technical mumbo-jumbo.<br>I think I get what your saying. Maybe we could all become members of the rivets community proper. Y'know, sign up or something. Only reg. users can comment. Small price to pay for a little peace and quiet. We'll police it to a degree.<br>There aren't all that many of us at this point (commenters, that is).

Except that makes anonymous comment hard. I don;t like sites where I have to login to comment, though I suppose I could use a cookie to make it so you only needed to do it once. Or perhaps I could have a system where people who weren't logged in couldn't use the letter e in their comments or something.

Lindsay

Funny, do you delete a lot of comment spam? <br>what was that repetative comment while you were gone?

j

now you are scaring me...just leave well enough alone.

Lynn

I get very little comment spam, apart from that repeatign one whilst I was away - however the comment system tries quite hard to stop spammy things getting through. All the trackbacks were spam though.
