You know...

...I was horrified by this idea at first. I mean, what kind of shallow, empty-headed ninny buys books by the foot, just 'cos they think that they want (or "should have") a library and want it to look nice?

But then I thought about it and think that the idea might just work, so long as you really can specify what kind of subject material you want in some detail. It could be an interesting way to get your hands on a whole heap of new books to read!

Of course, some of them are likely to be complete dross that you would immediately regret reading as soon as you got to page 2, but others could be real gems that you might not have considered reading, but which turn out to be very good.

Hmmmmm...

75 dollars a foot for art books?!? Sign me up! Sounds like a tremendous deal.

This is just disturbing...isn't it? The idea of decorating depth of character into your home. Then again, I could be upset that I didn't come up with this business plan.....

At least they are real books

Do you remember the Library Room in the Manhattan Hotel in Makuhari? It is full of DANISH books for some strange reason, all locked behind glass doors. Required reading for the Japanese clientelle I am sure...
