<p>...that makes me want to have the current software/IT industry taken out and shot so that we can start again and do it properly without a bunch of clueless salesdroids selling content-free vapourware promises to equally clueless customers. </p><p>The sooner some massive corporation with deep pockets and sharp lawyers manages to sue a major software supplier into the poorhouse for delivering a load of badly-specifie, poorly-working crud that doesn't do what it's supposed to, the better off the industry will be. (Not that I'm holding my breath on that one.)</p><p> </p><p>Sorry, bit of a pet rant of mine. Working on a couple of big government projects and seeing a load of old cobblers produced at massive expense (and waste of taxpayers' money) tends to leave anyone with a smidgeon of an idea (and a modicum of professional ethics) a little irritated. </p>
