Elizabeth was many things in her life among them were, wife, mother and friend. Mother was one of my dearest friends. She was strong and vunerable at the same time. She gave all of us strength and hope. She inspired many people by the way she faced the cancer and didn't let it rule her life. She went out of her way to reach out to others stricken with cancer. She faced death with dignity and strength. She leaned on her strong Christian Faith to comfort us that she was going on to be with Jesus. I pray that someday I can face adversity with the same strengh and unwaivering faith that she had. Mother, you were an inspiration to all who knew you. We love you and look forward to seeing you in heaven. Love Judy Judy Henry princessdixie@usa.net31st December 1996 |

Hello there everyone that comes to visit this place that is for my mother. Should you wish to email me, you may reach me at PrincessDixie@hotmail.com This past October, my mother would have celebrated the 50th year of her life on Earth. I miss her so, but the actual hurting part of our suffereing is lessening with each and every day. Judy (my sister) and I sometimes talk about special times that really make the both of us miss our mother more than others. I know that on my mothers birthday that I thought about her a little bit, but then in the days that followed, a sadness settled over me. There are times when I still wish that she were not gone from us, but how cruel would that be to jerk her from heaven to be here on this cruel earth with us? My sister had her first baby this year, a fine healthy baby girl that she and her husband Kent named Aurora. I am one of the childs GodParents and I know that my mother is beaming on us from a cloud up above. Sorry for the ramble, I just so very much loved this woman who I was lucky enough to know, and especially as my mother. Mother You were a gift to us when you were here, and you are missed now that you are gone. Love Dixie Dixie Tidwell PrincessDixie19th March 1999 |
