I started becoming friends with Wesley the year he died. We had a couple of classes together...we were teamed up as partners on some project in English class. so we got to know each other a little better. Kids were mean to him. very mean. those same kids that picked on him, picked on me. we both got it, but it really pissed me off when kids started with the gay comments...you saw it taking its toll on him. But I had no idea he would take his own life. I was supposed to go snowmobiling with him the weekend following his death. I remember being in the library at the end of the day. As i was leaving, i saw Wesley sitting by himself, reading his auto magazines that he loved so much. His back was facing me, and i came up behind him, tapped the back of his head with my book....and said "see ya tomorrow" he smiled when he realized it was me and not some punk. he said "see ya later" ... That was the last time I saw him. Its a shame he felt the need to do that. I wonder now, at 28, where he would be. He was 15...15! so damn young. He had his whole life. High school wasn't worth it. R.I.P. Bro. Love ya
