Based in Rocklin CA, a small town outside of Sacramento, Impulse 120 consists of former members of Used2bsane and Severance. Combining originality and talent to form a powerful and different sound Impulse 120 delivers a damaging blow to conformity while creating a sound that will transform the "Mainstream" sound into the " Impulse 120" sound as a standard definition. Oh, and they have an online store - so much for a damaging blow to conformity. I listened to the track they have on-line - muffled vocals and much use of power chords, pretty much like the backing to any skate video. Not much evidence of originality anywhere.
