I have been a "BR" fan for sometime. But, I am really tired of the USA bashing on this site. It is abundantly apparent from articles like "What Is Happening in America? "<br /> By Eliot Weinberger, that the best thinking from this site is poor at best.<br /> <br /> What WOULD the Germans write? I tell like I see it. It is not USA bashing, it is Bush bashing. I think Bush and his cronies are the worst thing that has happened to the world for a very long time. I am not keen on Mr Blair either (though I think he is deluded rather than criminal)

It isn't the subject matter. There are excellent analyses of the current world situation available on the net. This isn't one of them. I love this site, but it says eclectica and I want eclectica - not mood music for morons.

Well, the definition of eclectica certainly includes things that people might not like and might disagree with. I think this one falls into this category from people's comments. The fact that it makes people angry indicates to me that it is saying something.
