Apparently Mr Kunstler isn't overweight! He's also unaware of the fact that England is about the size of New York state. Perhaps if the U.S. were so tiny, we wouldn't be so reliant on our automobiles and thus 6 lbs lighter!

Only partially correct - the point is that people in the UK and other countries walk locally in towns - it is not just an issue of size.
