Why does the National Library of Scotland have its own second level domain name?
Looks like the British Library has one also: <a href="http://www.bl.uk/">bl.uk</a>; but the Welsh Library hasn't: <a href="http://www.llgc.org.uk">llgc.org.uk</a>

presumably if you get a new 2LD under .uk you have to file 7 copies at each of the copyright libraries right away...
