Isn't the David Blaine thing the most dull thing you could imagine? If he is going to stay in the box for 44 days then there is clearly some element of "illusion" involved.

In interviews he comes across as being pretty dull as well! I wish someone would cut the wires to his box <br /> (<a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/tv_and_radio/3112430.stm">http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/tv_and_radio/3112430.stm</a>)

Someone just did try to cut the wires to his box.....

The guy needs to get a life. He is not bad at the tricks he performs but these dumb stunts, hanging in a box, standing on a pole, in a block of ice, I just don't get it.

JAG

Well, the block of ice thing is a trick - anyone can do it. it isn't cold inside a block of ice - the real problem is that it gets too hot. Now the guy in Britain who did it inside ablock of Cheddar Cheese, him I admire. Blane also uses a lot of camera trickery when he makes his magic programmes which is a really big no-no.

David is boring, the real problem with this trick is the fact that if he does it, so what he stayed in a box, and if he's not there at all or at some time, its still boring, so what?

titfos

Do you have any other info on the guy sho stood in a block of cheese? There must be photos but I can't spot any on the net!

Bob Bob

and what type of cheese was it?

phil

I wonder what David's next trick will be? He's done ice (water), he's standing over the Thames (air), someone's already done cheese (earth - ok, slightly flimsy, but give me a break). So, maybe we can hope he'll stick himself in an oven on 300 for a month ;-)

Mark

It was Mature Cheddar. (Of course it may all have been a spoof, but it didn't sound like it)
