Just as I finish marking the first lot of essays, the next lot starts coming in. *sigh*

Much easier to give everyone 0% - you can almost always justify that.

Lindsay

That wouldnt be good for me.

Rob

Just make sure you don't read your essays a few years later, the two I wrote in first year are shocking and could probably be used as evidence in crimes against the Englist language. The funny thing is I don't remmember activly getting any better and grammar and punctuation over the past three years but I must have done.

Tom

Probably because I wrote rude things all over them!

Lindsay

*shudders to think what's going to be lurking in the HCI results page of ness...*

Andy

I have a Primary school project on New Zealand my mother saved to shame me with in adulthood. Never mind uni essays, you should see the unutterable shite you did as a wee bairn!

George Michaelson

I have some stuff from school and I'm actually rather impressed by it!

Lindsay

It can't be that bad marking essays you gave Frank Fung 8/10 in a 127 essay in which he wrote about his favorite street fighter characters, their combo moves and how he was crowned street fighter champion in Clayton Arcade. I think he still has it as he was showing it off when we were in the third year as we didn't believe him. Should have known better and believed him....

Danny

I could suggest a solution to that particular problem but I don't think it would be practical. The students would like it though ;-)

Chris McKeown

I think giving us all 100% would be a very good idea. Essay writing is my worst thing.

Rob

Marking interesting essays is OK. Marking the dull ones is not! You try reading 30 essays about teleworking!
