http://-_-browserbar.tk--__--@1cm.de/ - strange site, and URL play too. Seems to be selling something but it's so ugly I couldn't be bothered working it out.

I don't suppose the interesting address has anything to do with <A HREF="<a href="http://slashdot.org/articles/03/12/11/1319212.shtml?tid=109&tid=113&tid=126&tid=128&tid=187&tid=95">this</A>">http://slashdot.org/articles/03/12/11/1319212.shtml?tid=109&tid=113&tid=126&tid=128&tid=187&tid=95">this</A></a> recent IE vulnerability?

What a horrible mess! I thought Germans had better sense of "organisating".

Ole

Dammit, I could've sworn that I closed all my brackets and unquoted all my quotes!<br /> <br /> You need a preview option on here, Lindsay :-)<br /> <br /> <A HREF="<a href="http://slashdot.org/articles/03/12/11/1319212.shtml?tid=109&tid=113&tid=126&tid=128&tid=187&tid=95">Here</A>">http://slashdot.org/articles/03/12/11/1319212.shtml?tid=109&tid=113&tid=126&tid=128&tid=187&tid=95">Here</A></a> is the link.

Chris McKeown

Hmmm... either I've forgotten how to use HTML, or your comments board doesn't like URLs above a certain length...

Chris McKeown

Let's try <A HREF="<a href="http://tinyurl.com/yrh6">this</A>">http://tinyurl.com/yrh6">this</A></a> instead.

Chris McKeown

OK, it's definitely not me. I'll stop filling up your comments board with crap now.

Chris McKeown

Lindsay

Works fine for me......

Lindsay

Terrible that article at /dot. At home a spoof adress (ie5) at work a real adress (ie6*). I think it's real.

william

How strange... I copied and pasted exactly what I typed into a HTML doc and opened it in a web browser with no probs, before submitting it. I must be doing something wrong...

Chris McKeown

OK, the only thing that seems to be different is that I used 'A HREF' instead of 'a href'. Let's test this:<br /> <br /> <A HREF="http://www.google.com/">Capitals</A><br /> <br /> <a href="http://www.google.com/">Lowercase</a><br /> <br /> Both links worked when I copied this message out into a .html file.

Chris McKeown

Me=Stumped. Typing fingers must have been having a bad day...

Chris McKeown

You put used A instead of a didn't you? This is xhtml, we don't do uppercase tags! You don't need to add the a tag anyway - just drop in the link and it will get auto picked.

Lindsay
