No Boundaries or Rules - what is it about the words "intuitive user interface" that makes my heart sink? Oh, it gets worse, the article features the words "only a few clicks and drags of a mouse" another sure sign of yet another piece of software that will vanish without trace. (Yes, I am perfectly prepared to admit that I was wrong when it turns out to be a huge success and to revolutionise the whole content creation industry)

You know it's bad when they use MS Comic Sans font.

what is it that attracts people to it, like moths to a flame?

also silly- assigning an icon to documents rather than names (which could only be justifyable if the icon could be both meaningful and user created, and would probably work out to be either: mouse scrawl of the doc name, or a thumbnail of the actual file inside) and then also claiming the icon stores the actual document. when instead it stores a "recipe" which sounds to me much like any document type ever. Baka!

I would be safe in the knowledge that programmers won't use it, but then I picture some idiots using it. Can just imagine vi vs emacs vs NBOR flamewars... *sigh*

A good indicator of how important to the computer world this is: Not 1 hit on slashdot.
