What on earth is a 14-penny nail? (via the snarkster)
I heard this a few times when I was over in the states. They seem to use 'pennies' to describe the [length|thickness] (not sure which) of nails.

It's another word beginning pen... that I usually see in the context of length and thickness. And nailing come to think of it.<br /> <br /> Yes I have heard about it.
