I just switched off 2 of the 3 machines in my office. The remaining one has silent fans and the silence is astonishing. Of course it will now be cold in winter.

I forgot to power down the menagerie on/under/beside my desk last night, and when i came in to work this morning, it was 36 deg in my office. I shan't be doing that again in a hurry.
