Blast it, all the recent Firefox snapshots won't connect with SSL properly. Grrr.
um. thats so fundamentally broken, it sounds very specific to some circumstance you find yourself in. I am on NetBSD with firefox for linux and it works fine for SSL. what version(s) and what back? (OS/X I presume)

It's only some sites that won't connect. Lloyds bank for example.

maybe Apache BrowserIfMatch logic to try and constrain you to some known set of IE 'bug for bug compatible' behaviour.<br /> <br /> another choice is that for anything which is actually a CGI, SSL+POST is a slumbitch and there is stuff you want to do, which only works if its a GET. they may not understand that fu well.
