we have these here in OZ in the Hunter Valley (open-cut coalmines) next to the excellent vinyards. I can't think of a finer combination than humongous diggers and a source of good alcohol.. (shades of 'blott on the landscape' perhaps)<br /> <br /> the museum in Newcastle (our one, not yours Lindsay) has one of the older dragline buckets outside. You have to stand in one and realize its bigger than a squashcourt to appreciate how big these babes are, otherwise only usually seen at a distance. Wish I'd been in one of these cars.<br /> <br /> And it reminded me of how I used to feel when we drove past Jodrell Bank years ago!
