Wow, the "Tantalizing Sardine Dip" is VERY similar to a recipe for Sardine Pate from Pru Leith and Caroline Waldegrave that I use, it's actually very tasty.

And sardines on toast is classed as trailer trash food? Nonsense: sardines really <I>are</I> convenient, tasty and nutritious. Sardines mashed with garlic, a dash of lemon, and natural yogurt or cream cheese makes a really good dip or sandwich-filling paste.
