BTW has anyone have the routine for that card trick I linked to? Seems to be a lot of double lifts and stuff going on but it is hard to make out. And there are a couple of moves I don't know, or at least I don't recognise. Also does anyone have the routine for Vernon's Twisting the Aces? I worked it out from watching a video of Jerry Sadowitz performing it, but didn't write it down and I've forgotten it now. Some of you must be cardicians!

Th card trick

Not to imply that the trick is less than amazing, but could he be using five cards - two 2H's.

You could have a look for jerry's shop on ebay, its how he makes most of his money these days

Well, I considered the possibility that he was using more than 4 cards (in the style of Walton's oil and queens), and that is certainly a possibility, and it does look as though he does something at the very start of the trick before he deals, possibly palming the extra 2. However, the handling of putting the cards down and particularly the finish really does suggest that he is doing it with four cards. The bit that implies that there are two 2s is where he inserts the 2 in the middle of the packet and then it appears on top. I need to watch it again, thinking about the possibility of palming, though as I recall you do see boths sides of his hands pretty clearly throughout.

Okay, I'm a layman when it comes to these things and I can't see any of that. Having said that, the trick was thoroughly enjoyable. Thinking about the skill, dexterity, and the hours of work that must have gone into perfecting the trick make me really appreciate the artistry.
