I wasn't going to mention that film, but note that Carrie Fisher looks older than or at least as old as her mother (Go to the page and click the left arrow as it is the last image in the sequence) The miracles that are hair dye and plastic surgery.

Yeah I noticed that pic yesterday as well, and was rather shocked. Mind you, Debbie Reynolds hasn't changed much in the last 20 years, she probly has the good skin and the surgery works well for her (some people seem to benefit more than others from it and Debbie always had a pretty face), but christ Carrie looks shocking. I can see adhesive scar tissue under the skin of her right cheek which shows she's had surgery at least in the last 6 months. That disappears after a while, but she probably had a bit of work knowing that she'd have to front up for the premiere of the last movie. She looks a little puffy, maybe it's just slight weight gain or something.

My wife says that Carrie looks 100% better than she did the last time she saw her, which I guess was in the Austin Powers movie. My wife doesn't agree that she looks the same age as her mother, she immediately pointed to their necks. It's the big giveaway, she says.

Bloody horrible judging people on their looks, but basically the pressure on women in showbusiness to look good is outrageous. This is the world we live in.

In point of fact it was their necks I was going by - I thought that CF really does look much older than she should laying aside all issues of wealth, culture, surgery etc. etc. Too much high (or low) living possibly. Look at me and see how a life of purity and abstinence has preserved my youthful good looks....
