I made mince pies today and as usual several of them fell to bits due to the mouthwateringly rich crumbliness of them. So we had ice cream and fresh mince pie with the disasters which was lovely. (I seem to recall doing this before though - but not last year since I was ill)
we mix craisins (dried cranberries) citron peel, and other stuff into vanilla ice-cream and re-chill. It tastes like mince pie mix and christmas pudding and ice-cream all mixed up!
