Good grief, toothbrushes are complicated now. The ergonomic handles don't fit in the toothbrush holder and you practically need a training course to use them. And of course they cost a ludicrous amount of money and youa re supposed to replace them at ever decreasing intervals. My current one has some weird thing in the handle that bends when you press too hard. I think. At least it doesn't vibrate. Yet.

the bending thing is actually useful. You can lose your teeth from brushing to hard as your gums recede, like my hair.

Indeed...

My old electric toothbrush clicks if you press too hard. It only takes a couple of goes to get used to applying the right pressure. This is actually a genuine improvement to oral health, can't say much about all the other design changes though. Problem I have is I find a toothbrush I like only to find you can't get it any more when I go for a new one.

toothbrushes

Until I read your post this was a fairly neutral subject for me. Now I'm extremely irritated that my toothbrush won't fit in the holder. I now realize that I have a useless ugly holder and have to put my toothbrush in the glass I'd like to use for drinking from. One more thing for me to get pissed off about!

This toothbrush .... it vibrates?

Mine doesn't vibrate, but quite a few new ones do - they have sonic things in them. (I hope that doesn;t mean they spin around in your mouth looking for gold teeth)

We prefer acoustic toothbrushes in this household. Classic design that never dates.
