I have to say that Second Life seems pretty dull to me. Perhpas I just haven't found the action yet (however currently I am sitting in a chair in a BDSM club. This activity (or inactivity) earns me money, of which I have none)
Go to a so called Sand Box and try the editor for creating stuff.
