<p>wonderful footnotes in 'the last sail race' which was published at a time when in britain at least, fuck was routinely s/fuck/muck/ to avoid litigation from the lord chancellor (or somebody)</p><p>newby used fok, explaining in a footnote that it was a norwegian expression for sail furling or something. </p><p>so the book is full of fokking hell...</p><p> </p>
