Let me recommend the new Terry Pratchett Wintersmith - it's the next one in the Tifanny Aching/Wee Free Men series and is of course meant to be a childrens' book. It's great.

explaining some of the feeglie statements humour value in Australia proves interesting, an awful lot of "oor wullie" scots needs dictionary-izing.

for instance, having both "big jobs" and "jobbies"

I expected to be disappointed, but I enjoyed it. I can't wait for "making money" to come out.

I am vaguely worried the film of hogfather (released on Sky this hogswatch) is going to be a disappointment, but the cast looks fab. Joss Ackland, David Jason, Iain Richardson (vocally)

Just started reading this and it is truly great.

Having spent years being told by my dad that the pratchet books are brilliant i've caught up with them over the past year and half and they are. They do however make you look insane on the bus when your laughing so loudly to yourself.

I agree the Hogfathers cast makes looks like it shouldn't dissapoint. Lets just hope its a massive success and it starts the ball rolling for more films or at least some more Cosgrove Hall adaptations
