I can't work out which is more annoying - the even earlier start to xmas nonsense or the sticker on a bag of apples saying "Happy Halloween". Halloween is not a festival (in this country) so please don't try to make it one.

Although Halloween is still remains a huge marketable holiday in the U.S., I see the Christmas shopping hype virtually pop-up overnight in New England <strong>during the month of September</strong>.
