Dear god, I'm using Google Chrome this morning and am just horrified by the vile adverts everywhere. Adblock does a great job, and back to FF I go.....
Interesting... I've been using Chrome since its debut, and have not seen any advertising anywhere (except for the stuff that is normally there in banners and such). Maybe there is a preference setting?

You could run a local proxy to suppress ads, such as privoxy. ABP is a lot easier though, and Chrome does need to mature somewhat first.<br />
